Goodbye Swancon, Hello XML!

Swancon was an amazing weekend, fully of talking, making and playing games. Rich and I introduced the Halfling Heist to over twenty new gamers at the Pan Pacific Hotel in one afternoon, with some stunning examples of dashing, derring-do and devilled eggs attempted by all.

We made plenty of new friends, all of who we hope will be returning to the world of Halfling feasts in the near future!

But for now the Halflings have to retire to make way for the downright dirty cast of Grand City, who will be accompanying me to the Perth XMediaLab workshop "What's Your Story?" this weekend. We'll be taking Grand City to the two day Labs to be picked apart, investigated and thoroughly examined by some of the world's digital media elite.

To say I'm a little bit excited would be an understatement of ridiculous proportions.

I'm looking forward to taking a project like Grand City to an international forum like this. It will be good fun to advocate multiplatform projects with great stories and great gameplay to people with vast experience in these fields. And who knows what this weekend might lead to for the denizens of Grand City?
